Meet a Platypus

There’s a reason why we’re called Platypus Ponds... for all the Platypuses in our creek of course! You will surely meet them on a wander along the banks of the Cabbage Tree Creek. Our property and surrounding area is a birdwatchers paradise. There are great photography opportunities including up-close encounters with the Azure Kingfisher and White Faced Pacific Heron, both types of birds are frequent visitors to the property. There are also Goanna to be seen too as well as resident Lyrebirds, kookaburras and beautiful blue wrens.
